Frequently Asked Questions
BROWS
-
Brow lamination is a treatment that smooths and lifts your brow hairs into place, giving a fuller and fluffier appearance. Think of it like a gentle perm for your brows.
-
Results last 6–8 weeks with proper care.
-
A clean-up removes stray hairs outside your existing shape.
Shaping is a more detailed process where we map, wax, trim, and sculpt the brow into its ideal form, enhancing your natural features. -
Clients should avoid brow lamination if they have:
Skin or Eye Conditions:
Active eczema, psoriasis, or dermatitis around the brow area
Broken or abraded skin, cuts, or infections near the eyebrows
Eye infections (e.g., conjunctivitis/styes)
Recent cosmetic tattooing (must allow adequate healing time)
Allergies/Sensitivities:
Known allergy to perming solutions or tinting products
Very sensitive or reactive skin (may increase risk of irritation or burns)
Other Factors:
Pregnancy or breastfeeding (due to hormonal changes, results may vary or sensitivity may increase)
Over-processed brows from recent treatments (e.g., tinting, bleaching, or previous lamination within 6–8 weeks)
FULL BODY WAXING
-
At least ¼ inch long (about the size of a grain of rice). Usually, this means waiting 2–3 weeks after shaving.

-
Results typically last 3–6 weeks, depending on your personal hair growth cycle. With consistent waxing, hair grows back finer and sparser over time.
-
Clients should avoid waxing if they have any of the following:
Medical or Skin Conditions:
Active acne, eczema, psoriasis, or dermatitis in the treatment area
For your safety and comfort, we do not perform waxing services while you’re taking antibiotics. Your skin can be more sensitive during this time, increasing the risk of irritation or lifting. We kindly ask that you wait 14 days after your last dose before scheduling your waxing appointment.
Sunburned or overly sensitive skin
Varicose veins (especially for leg waxing)
Skin infections, open wounds, or lesions
History of keloid scarring
Medications or Treatments:
Use of Accutane (Isotretinoin) within the past 6–12 months
Use of Retinol, Retin-A, Differin, or other topical vitamin A products on the area to be waxed (discontinue at least 5–7 days prior)
Chemical peels (AHA, BHA, glycolic acid, etc.) within the last week
Recent laser treatments, microdermabrasion, or other resurfacing procedures
Other Factors:
Recent tanning (sun or sunbed) within 24–48 hours
Poor circulation or diabetes (may increase sensitivity and risk of infection)
Blood-thinning medications (may increase risk of bruising)

Before booking, ensure you have at least 2-4 weeks of hair growth since your last shave or hair removal. Proper skin preparation is key—exfoliate 2-3 times a week and moisturize daily for smooth results. To minimize sensitivity, follow these tips:
• Take an ibuprofen 45 minutes before your appointment.
• Avoid caffeine or alcohol prior appointment.
• Stay hydrated throughout the day.
• Inform your esthetician of any medications or allergies. -
It’s normal to experience some sensitivity, redness, or irritation within the first 24–48 hours after your wax. These reactions should subside quickly.
To avoid further discomfort, please avoid the following for at least 24 hours:
• Excessive sweating or heavy exercise
(includes hot showers, jacuzzis, saunas, steam rooms, beaches, and pools)• Sexual activity
• Tanning or applying makeup on the waxed area
• Lotions containing strong fragrances or chemicals
• Exfoliating
(wait 2–3 days before resuming)• Wearing tight clothing
Stick to loose, breathable fabrics after waxing to prevent irritation or ingrown hairs• Touching freshly waxed skin
This helps prevent breakouts or bacteria transfer
For the best results and minimal reactions, stay consistent with waxing every 4-6 weeks, and avoid shaving or trimming between appointments. Consistency is the key to achieving smooth, long-lasting results!
